Positions Purpose
These roles are responsible for the delivery of highly efficient screening practices and smooth transit during cruise operations at the Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT) and White Bay Cruise Terminal (WBCT) whilst ensuring first class passenger experience and the safety of travellers, colleagues and the community is paramount.
These roles will assist to ensure that all aspects of security service delivery are compliant with Maritime regulations.
Multiple Casual or Permanent Part-time roles on a seasonal variable work schedule in the following key roles, such as:
Cruise Ship Passenger Screening (including management positions)
Gatehouse Guarding
Control Room Operations
Traffic Controlling
Mobile Patrolling
Concierge/Front Desk
Security Management positions
Access Control
General Security Duties
Essential Requirements
Current Security Licence (NSW/ACT)
Valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
First Aid certification
Proven experience in security guarding or related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Physical fitness and ability to conduct regular patrols
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays
