Achieve Group Australia are currently seeking experienced Steel Fixers and Concreters to join our team for a large-scale civil project. This is a long-term opportunity working on a 9:5 roster, with camp accommodation provided.
We are looking for skilled tradespeople who take pride in their work, can work safely in a team environment, and are ready for an immediate start.
- Steel Fixers: $50/hr
- Concreters: $55/hr
About the Roles Steel Fixing Duties:
- Reading and interpreting drawings and plans
- Cutting, bending, and tying steel reinforcement bars and mesh
- Installing rebar into formwork and securing as required
- Working to specifications and construction tolerances
- General Labouring
Concreting Duties:
- Pouring, spreading, levelling and finishing concrete
- Operating trowelling machines and hand tools for a quality finish
- Setting up formwork and preparing areas for concrete pours
- Assisting with curing and concrete protection as needed
- General Labouring
Requirements:
- Proven experience in steel fixing and concreting
- Robust attention to detail and ability to follow site instructions
- Competency with power tools and concreting equipment
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Able to work well within a team environment
- Must have a white card (physical card)
