The Role
Working within our amazing Call Centre, your role as a Reservations Consultant will consist of working with Travel Agents and directly with passengers.
From making the initial sales, booking flights, accommodation, transfers and upselling, you are responsible for all aspects of bookings pre-tour.
You will process all enquiries and booking requests effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Making and maintaining reservations for customers and our industry partners via phone, chat or email with high accuracy
Recommending additional add-ons and tour experiences to enhance the customers' experience on tour
Booking flights to package with our tours
Handling complaints and booking issues as they arise to get a satisfactory result for customers
Building relationship with customers and our agency partners to give them peace of mind that everything is taken care of and build loyalty
Being flexible to adapt to ever changing situations as they arise
Working Monday-Friday 8am-6pm roster, occasional Saturday and paid overtime.
Will require 3 weeks of full-time training Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (AEST)

About You
Travel industry experience or relevant qualifications
Experience working with various GDS platforms & or booking systems, preferably Sabre
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to deal with last-minute changes and changing workloads
Willingness to continually learn and grow
Positive and can-do attitude
