We are growing and we are seeking a talented Supply Plannerto join our dynamic team in DJ&A PTY. LTD.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain supply plans that align with sales forecasts, production schedules, and inventory targets.
* Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries of in-bound freights.
* Collaborate with the production team and warehouse team to manage packaging material inventories and address potential shortages or delays.
* Monitor and adjust supply plans in response to demand fluctuations and market dynamics.
* Liaise with suppliers to secure necessary materials and packaging components, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
* Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions, working with multiple vendors to mitigate risks.
* Work with sales and NPD teams to refine demand forecasts and align supply with market needs.
* Minimise overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant components to maximize availability of working capital.
* Monitor stock levels and complete low stock warning report on weekly basis to prevent out of stocks.
* Maintain item costing in ERP system for all manufactured and purchased items.
* Provide feedback to business on stock levels and provide reports on potential short-dated issues.
* Manage the supply chain inputs into the Sales and Operations planning process.
* Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to align on supply chain objectives.
* Assist in the development of new products by providing input on supply chain considerations during planning.
* Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
* Utilise data-driven insights to drive decisions and recommend process improvements.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
* Previous experience and knowledge of import-export dynamics (preferable).
* Degree in Supply Chain Management (preferable).
* Negotiating skills and strong problem-solving attitude.
* Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suit, particularly Excel.
* Written and spoken professional English proficiency.
* Proactive can-do attitude, attention to details, willing to learn and with
professional manner.
