ABOUT THE ROLE
Working as part of a team and being the face of our organisation, we are seeking a part time Medical Receptionist to work at our Yarrawonga site and join our fun and supportive team.
Your responsibilities will include:
4. Representing X-Ray Group as the first impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk.
5. Answering the telephone and respond to patient enquiries in an efficient and sensitive manner
6. Make a patient bookings while maximising appointment slots
7. Informing patients of relevant preparation, costing estimates, and requirement to present relevant concession cards.
8. Actioning patient referrals as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of fellow Receptionists, Booking Centre Agents, Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
ABOUT YOU
9. Previous medical receptionist experience
10. Excellent interpersonal skills in order to show patients care, compassion and empathy
11. Detailed understanding of medical imaging terminology
12. Excellent time management skills in order to prioritise tasks
13. Excellent communication skills
14. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
15. Excellent keyboard skills for data entry into RIS system
16. EFTPOS and cash handling skills
17. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
18. The flexibility to work between sites desirable
