About Us:

AC Solar Warehouse is one of Australia's leading solar wholesalers, supplying high-quality solar and energy storage equipment to installation companies across Australia and New Zealand. Over the last 14 years, we've grown from a small start-up into the largest Enphase and SolarEdge wholesaler in the country, supported by our offices and distribution centres in Cairns and Melbourne, and 3PL distribution centres in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland and Christchurch.

We're proud to contribute to Australia's clean-energy transition while offering the lifestyle benefits of living and working in beautiful tropical North Queensland. Our sales, logistics, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, warehouse and finance teams all play a part in supporting our customers and ensuring they receive exceptional service, technical support and innovative products. This customer-first mindset has been the foundation of our long-term growth and reputation.

Our culture centres on excellence, teamwork and shared success. With close to 35 staff across our offices, we believe our business thrives when our people do. We work hard, support each other, celebrate our wins and have fun along the way. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to being the most professional and supportive solar wholesaler in Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role:

Our Cairns head office is growing, and we're looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Inventory Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring we maintain the right stock levels, optimise inventory investment, and provide valuable data insights that support purchasing, sales, and operational decisions across the business. If you enjoy working with data, identifying trends, and driving smarter business decisions, this is an exciting opportunity to build your career in the renewable energy sector.

You'll be responsible for analysing inventory performance, forecasting demand, monitoring stock movements, and supporting purchasing strategies through accurate reporting and insights. Working closely with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams, you'll help ensure product availability while minimising excess stock and improving overall inventory efficiency. The role requires strong attention to detail, advanced Excel capability, and the ability to interpret data into clear and actionable recommendations.

This is a fast-paced and commercially focused role where your analysis will directly influence stock investment, supplier performance, profitability, and customer outcomes. You'll also contribute to process improvements, inventory planning, reporting dashboards, and forecasting models that support the continued growth of the business.

Our modern Cairns office environment offers a great balance of professionalism and personality. We work hard, lift each other up during busy periods and genuinely celebrate team wins. It's a friendly, close-knit workplace where your contribution will be recognised and valued.

AC Solar Warehouse is proudly 100% Australian and employee-owned. Our founder and Managing Director remains hands-on in the business and leads with a supportive, empowering and team-focused approach. If you're looking to make a meaningful impact, work with great people and grow with a respected industry leader, this is the opportunity for you.

Selection Criteria:

* Demonstrated experience in inventory analysis, demand planning, or a similar analytical role within a wholesale, distribution, or supply chain environment
* Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable business insights
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis); experience with ERP systems (e.g. Odoo) and/or BI tools is desirable
* Sound understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, stock optimisation, inventory turnover, and working capital
* Commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse pricing, margins, and stock investment to support business performance
* Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision-making
* High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
* Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights to a range of stakeholders

A current driver's licence is essential.

An immediate commencement is available. Please complete the online application form and submit your CV and a cover letter highlighting your fit with the selection criteria.
