About the Role: We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Commerce team which is part of the core platform organization within Splunk cloud. The main focus of the team is to provide a set of services to enable Splunk product onboarding and automating the existing Splunk product delivery process. What you'll get to do: Own and be accountable for the delivery of multiple features to enhance the Splunk onboarding experience for products and customers.Design and implement APIs needed for the same.Help scale our backend systems in a performant, secure, and reliable way.Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of frameworks and backend components and mentor junior engineers, to help develop their technical skills, communication, and careers.Help identify and develop ways to improve our team's productivity and efficiency by expanding on our existing tools and processes.Participate in on-call rotation of the team where you will get an opportunity to work on real customer incidents and improve on that. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.
