Our client is a nationally recognised business, founded and located on the Sunshine Coast and with an exciting growth trajectory.
Australian owned and operated, the company's designs create beauty through simplicity, combining form and function. Our client has invented, developed and patented a range of architectural products, manufactured locally, that are suitable for residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The business has pioneered a system specified by architects and building designers, and sought after by developers, builders and renovators.
With on‑site manufacturing, operations and customer relations, the team comes from a wide variety of backgrounds – design, architecture, construction, fabrication, building design, sales, administration, logistics and more. Focused on continuous improvement, that team prioritises quality in every aspect of its operations with a goal of ensuring excellence at every touchpoint.
About the Role
Reporting to the Founder/CEO and a key member of the Senior Leadership team, you will take ownership of realising the commercial potential of the company's designs and brand.
With a brief to maximise sales across Australia while building momentum to activate and grow international markets, you will develop sales strategy and tactical Sales Activation Plans aligned to that strategy.
You will pivot between the strategic and the tactical as needed and be heavily in‑market personally – this is not about directing traffic from behind a desk.
Your role will include:
* Leading, coaching and instilling accountability in your team (currently numbering five), embedding a high‑performance culture through training for performance.
* Developing, documenting and ensuring adoption of effective sales processes, including integrating the CRM system into those processes.
* Active participation in new product development, feeding market intel into the business and updating sales strategy and activation plans to ensure seamless launches to market.
In doing so, you will be supported by a committed leadership group that includes a Brand & Marketing Manager, Operations/Customer Experience Manager and Production Supervisor.
About You
You are a sales leader with deep experience in the architectural products space, able to demonstrate:
* A history of driving profitable sales growth through architects, building designers, commercial and residential builders, and property developers.
* Having developed and successfully executed sales strategy.
* A track record of professionalising sales functions through developing and implementing processes and systems, including coaching the adoption of CRM systems.
* The ability to coach, develop and influence individuals and teams to high performance.
* Ideally, experience in contributing to marketing campaigns and collateral aligned to your sales strategies.
At a more personal level, you:
* Are seeking an opportunity to make a positive, lasting impact in an environment where the difference you make will be truly valued.
* Appreciate and value the roles played by the people around you and understand that success is the result of a team performing, not just an individual.
