Solution Architect - Dynamics 365 & Azure
12 Month Contract
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of an enterprise-wide Customer Relationship Management and Case Management platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service.
You will play a key role in shaping the organisation's digital future by defining architecture standards, developing solution blueprints, and supporting the implementation of a scalable, enterprise-grade platform. This role will see you working closely with internal stakeholders, Microsoft, and delivery partners to design and implement innovative, future-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive Solution Blueprint, including:
o Conceptual and logical architecture designs
o Functional and integration design models
o High-level data models and migration strategies
o Security and non-functional requirements
o Solution management and reporting frameworks
* Design scalable solutions leveraging Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure services
* Support onboarding of new solutions onto the enterprise platform
Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery
* Collaborate with Microsoft and implementation partners to deliver the enterprise platform
* Engage with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and outcomes
* Translate business needs into clear architectural designs and technical direction
* Support cross-functional teams through design and delivery phases
Architecture Governance
* Ensure solutions align with established architecture standards and frameworks
* Provide guidance on best practices across security, compliance, and information management
* Maintain adherence to organisational and industry standards
* Promote consistency across Power Platform and broader technology solutions
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 10 years' experience as a Solution Architect within large, complex environments
* Strong background in enterprise architecture, including integration, data, and platform design
* Extensive hands-on experience with:
o Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM, Customer Service)
o Microsoft Power Platform
o Azure-based solution architecture
* Proven ability to design end-to-end solutions that modernise legacy systems and deliver new digital capabilities
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all levels
* Strong consulting and stakeholder management experience
Desirable Certifications
* Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant
* Azure Solutions Architect Expert
* Power Platform Functional Consultant or Solution Architect
