Seeking a diligent and safety-focused Maintainer Operator to join our team in Port Hedland. This role is responsible for the safe operation of plant and equipment, maintaining daily and weekly operational schedules.
As a key member of the site team, you will ensure operational continuity, contribute to improvement initiatives, and maintain equipment in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain mobile and fixed plant in support of daily operations.
* Perform routine servicing and minor repairs on plant and equipment.
* Coordinate internal and external resources to meet operational needs.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality systems.
* Promote a positive safety culture and adhere to Life Saving Rules.
* Report activities, incidents, near misses, and quality issues; investigate and implement improvements.
* Engage with contractors through our online management system.
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an operational or team-based role.
* Strong understanding of warehouse or logistics processes.
* Mechanical aptitude with the ability to replace parts and troubleshoot equipment.
* Experience operating telehandlers or equivalent machinery.
* Knowledge of WHS systems, operational risk assessment, and safe work practices.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Computer literacy and digital work instructions.
Required Licences & Tickets
* Current WA Driver's Licence.
* EWP and Working at Heights - desirable.
