Job Description
Our Early Childhood Centre is seeking a reliable and skilled casual maintenance person to assist with general maintenance duties. The position is 2 days per week, as required, in two different locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* General lawn mowing and garden maintenance: Maintain the outdoor areas of both centres, ensuring they are well-manicured and aesthetically pleasing.
* General upkeep of indoor and outdoor equipment: Regularly inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
* Light painting when required: Perform minor painting tasks as needed to maintain the appearance of the centres.
* Liaising with senior management: Collaborate with centre directors and senior management to identify priorities and allocate tasks effectively.
* Reliable transport and tools: Possess a reliable vehicle and necessary tools for the role.
* Attending tip (fully paid): Escort waste disposal staff to the tip when required, receiving full payment for your time.
* Working outdoors: Enjoy working in an outdoor environment and being physically active.
* Sense of humor: A positive attitude and sense of humour are highly valued and encouraged within our team.
* Working With Vulnerable Persons registration: Hold a current Working With Vulnerable Persons registration, which is essential for this role.
