About The Job
Responsibilities include:
* Supervision of warehouse personnel and efficient operations of the warehouse function.
* Ensure compliance with customs and other relevant regulators.
* Supervise and coordinate the collection and delivery of goods.
* Supervise the unloading, checking, positioning, and reporting of goods into the warehouse.
* Other duties as may be specified by your Manager.
* Deal with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
* Perform appraisal of staff, where applicable.
* Take appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non‐conformities.
* Record internal and external documentation.
* Take responsibility for document change requests.
* Maintain a skills inventory and ensure all training received is recorded on a personal training inventory.
* Ensure regular servicing and maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment that conforms to OH&S requirements.
* Raise and distribute delegation of authority emails.
* Ensure sourcing is confined to approved suppliers, review purchase orders, and liaise with quality when new suppliers are considered.
* Process all warehouse and distribution requirements in accordance with relevant procedures.
* Inspect freight received or dispatched to the consignee/shipper.
* Ensure movement of materials in and out of the warehouse is controlled and documented.
