Nurse Unit Manager Role

About the Role:
* The Nurse Unit Manager provides expert clinical practice and operational management to guide high-quality, safe clinical services for patients within the correctional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To demonstrate specialised knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory in Prison and Youth Detention Health Services nursing.
2. To provide management experience and capability with an ability and commitment to practice collaboratively within the multidisciplinary health care team to deliver high-quality care.
3. To develop data analysis; outcome evaluation; service improvement and development skills.
4. To apply management knowledge and skills specifically human resource management and advanced financial literacy within the healthcare environment.
5. To build and maintain strong relationships, open communication, and a positive environment within a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD).
