In this hybrid role as a Business Development & Account Manager - Logistics & Key Accounts, you’ll manage a portfolio of major customers. Your focus will be on maintaining strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring service excellence across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

- Winning new business with key logistics clients to meet growth targets
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key logistics clients to meet revenue and profitability targets
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with annual sales budgets
- Develop tailored sales plans and value-based proposals for each prospect
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, drivers, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery
- Monitor onboarding and first 90 days of trade to ensure satisfaction and integrity
- Provide market insights and competitor analysis to support commercial strategy
- Maintain a strong on-going pipeline
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders
- Maximise client’s share of wallet

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain account management
- Demonstrable history of new business development
- Robust relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercial acumen and solution-based selling experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical abilities
- Ability to building relationships across multiple layers within an organisation
- Self-driven, organised, and detail-oriented
- Effective presentation skills & interpersonal communication
- Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
