Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Revit API Expert / C# Developer
to join our growing team in
Jandakot, WA
. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Revit automation, software development, and solving real-world BIM challenges through clean, efficient code.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining custom Revit add-ins and automation tools, working closely with designers and engineers to translate workflow challenges into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain custom
Revit API add-ins using C#
* Create automation tools to improve BIM workflows, data management, and model consistency
* Collaborate with designers and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
* Optimize existing tools for performance, usability, and reliability
* Contribute to the ongoing development of AMI's automation frameworks and internal libraries
* Provide technical guidance and support to internal users and clients where required
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Strong experience with
Revit API development
* Proficiency in C# and .NET
* Solid understanding of Revit concepts (families, parameters, views, worksets, etc.)
* Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
* Experience with
Dynamo
, Python, or hybrid Dynamo/Revit API workflows
* Familiarity with WPF or WinForms for Revit UI development
* BIM or AEC industry background
* Experience developing user-focused automation tools
