The Facilities Manager is suited to a passionate, efficient and innovative employee with trade qualifications. You will be committed to maintaining and presenting the facilities at Cave Hill Creek to the highest of standards.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
•Lead and supervise a small team to maintain buildings, grounds and facilities, and implement regular service maintenance programs
•Project manage venue and facility upgrades, and regular maintenance schedules
•Engage and supervise trades
•Manage expenditure
•Lead emergency management planning and training
•Implement environmental and sustainability initiatives
•Contribute ideas
•Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards, and keep up to date records
•Event set up and pack down
Essential Requirements:
•Experience managing facilities, small building and construction projects, and expenditure
•Building trade qualification
•Ability to work in a team environment, supervise staff and lead a team to achieve goals and organisational objectives
•Professional attitude and ability to prioritise competing demands
•Innovative problem solver, strong customer service focus and work ethic
•This role requires extensive manual handling tasks including lifting, kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals, working at heights operating machinery and equipment
•Thorough understanding workplace health and safety, and essential services compliance requirements
It is essential you have a current drivers licence and if you don’t already currently have the following, you will be willing to obtain:
•Working with children check
•Current first aid certificate
You will be fit and able to perform the physical requirements of the role.
