The Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver to join our team in Beresfield, Newcastle.
This role involves local and regional deliveries, with a focus on safety, professionalism, and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate HR vehicles safely and efficiently
* Load and unload goods
* Perform daily vehicle checks and report maintenance issues
* Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
* Comply with company policies and relevant transport regulations
Requirements
* Current and valid HR licence
* Forklift licence (desirable)
* Proven experience driving HR vehicles; minimum 2 years
* Good driving record (RMS printout may be required)
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Physically fit and able to lift / load when required
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
