Role Overview:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Storeperson works closely with a small, dedicated team to ensure smooth and efficient daily warehouse operations. This hands-on role combines physical activity with computer-based coordination, from receiving and verifying goods to accurately picking and carefully packaging customer orders. You'll prepare shipping labels, organise dispatches, and play a vital role in stock and inventory management. Success in this role rests on having a keen eye for detail, a methodical approach, and the ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, unpack, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
* Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision and care.
* Create and manage shipping labels, coordinate dispatch, and liaise with freight providers.
* Maintain accurate stock levels through regular counts and data entry.
* Operate warehouse equipment safely and assist with general warehouse upkeep.
* Assist with stock rotations and ensure storage areas remain clean and organised.
* Support continuous improvements in warehouse processes and safety standards.
What We Offer:
* Salary: $60,000 per annum plus superannuation (pro rata)
* Contract: Six-month fixed-term, full-time position with a 9-day fortnight (every second Friday off). There is potential for extension beyond six months
