Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this role is central to shaping and delivering Launceston Airport's growth strategy. You'll drive sustainable revenue outcomes, uplift precinct performance, and help position the airport for its next phase of expansion. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and delivering strategies across parking, car rental, ground transport, retail and advertising to support long-term revenue growth.
* Managing and optimising the existing portfolio, including performance monitoring, compliance oversight, and negotiating commercial agreements.
* Identifying and assessing new opportunities that enhance customer experience, expand airport assets and deliver strong financial returns, supported by robust business cases.
* Building effective, long-term relationships with tenants, operators and partners through proactive engagement and strong stakeholder management.
* Working with the Head of Infrastructure, Planning & Customer Experience to align initiatives and drive performance through targeted marketing and customer-focused improvements.
The successful candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Retail, Marketing, Legal or related discipline.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen with proven success in managing and growing a diverse commercial, customer or retail portfolio.
* Ability to analyse data and use insights to drive commercial decisions.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a naturally customer-centric approach.
* Experience developing robust business cases, with strong financial literacy and understanding of relevant legislation.
* Airport commercial experience is an advantage but not essential.
* Knowledge of car rental or car parking market practices is desirable.
We understand that not everyone will feel they meet all of these 100%. However, if you feel you have the attitude and aptitude to grow within our team, we invite you to apply and have a conversation with us about this position.
