Our client is an established automotive dealership in Sydney specializing in quality used cars. They are seeking an experienced
Car Sales Consultant / Car Salesman
to drive vehicle sales, deliver excellent customer service, and manage the end-to-end sales process. The role requires strong negotiation skills, a proven track record in used car sales, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and market share.
* Oversee the entire sales process, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* Manage vehicle inventory, including stock rotation, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
* Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
* Maintain strong relationships with customers, finance partners, and manufacturers.
* Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and efficiency.
* Stay updated on automotive market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
* Collaborate with marketing and aftersales teams to maximize dealership performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience working in the automotive industry, essentially in used car sales.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service abilities.
* Sound knowledge of vehicle financing, trade-in processes, and dealership operations.
* Valid Australian driver's licence.
