This position is suitable for someone who is self-motivated and doesn't need close supervision. Previous related experience is not essential as we will provide training for a person who displays the right aptitude and team fit.
This is a seasonal role which involves continuous shift work during the crushing season on a lifestyle friendly roster.
**Your Role in Action**
- Carry out general surveillance over the entire Boiler Station
- Monitor the running of all fans and drives including oil levels, pressures and temperatures
- Ensure correct operations of fly ash and arrestor systems including cleaning of arrestors and birdbaths
- Ensure that bagasse ploughs feeders and distributors operate correctly
- Grease nipples around the Boilers
- Check supply of cooling water to distributors and turbines
- Perform other duties as the Supervisor may reasonably request

- Communicate effectively on telephone and two-way radio.
- Work in conjunction with the Production Teams
- Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback to the Supervisor
- Able to work at heights and within confined spaces if required
- Follow instructions given by supervisor and use all required PPE for the tasks
