About the Role
We currently have positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Workers to join our team providing care support in Bathurst, NSW. You will need to be friendly, positive, and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
* Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client.
* Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties.
* Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support.
* Providing support with academic, social, or recreational activities.
* Preparing food, feeding clients, and administering medications.
* Observe, care, and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client.
* Responding to emergency situations.
* Travel to Orange for services (if not local to the area).
Criteria
* Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent (essential).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
* National Police Check (valid within the last 3 years).
* NSW Working with Children Check.
* Drivers Licence.
* First Aid.
* CPR Certificate (Valid within last 12 months).
