We are seeking an experienced Migration Administrative Assistant to join our growing People & Culture team.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Migration Administrative Assistant to join our People & Culture team.
In this role, you will support the coordination and administration of employer-sponsored visa processes for our workforce, working closely with internal stakeholders and external migration agents to ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation and coordination of employer-sponsored visa applications (e.g. subclass 482, 186)
* Collect, review, and organise employee documentation (passports, qualifications, police clearances, etc.)
* Maintain accurate records of visa statuses, expiry dates, and compliance requirements
* Liaise with employees, hiring managers, and external migration agents to ensure timely submission of applications
* Track application progress and follow up on outstanding documentation
* Prepare standard correspondence, forms, and internal reports
* Support compliance with sponsorship obligations and internal policies
About You
* Previous experience in an administrative, HR, or recruitment support role
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume documentation
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Clear and professional communication skills
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and HR systems
Desirable (but not essential)
* Exposure to visa or migration processes
* Experience working with global mobility or international employees
* Tertiary qualification in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
