Where would you fit?
This is a critical role within the x15 Portfolio team, responsible for identifying and investing in opportunities, and supporting our ventures to scale through strategic partnerships with CommBank. You will report to the Head of Product and Design, focusing on driving initiatives that meet key growth milestones and creating exceptional user experiences for new ventures and internal projects.
Your impact and contribution
As a Senior Product Owner, you will lead product development within the POC Team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define vision, strategy, and roadmaps. You will oversee delivery, analyze product insights, and adapt strategies accordingly, ensuring successful execution from inception to completion.
Your responsibilities
* Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing tasks with the Head of Product and department leads.
* Communicate effectively across teams during planning, development, and release phases.
* Drive product concepts from idea to launch, managing all aspects in a fast-paced environment.
* Work closely with engineering, operations, and design teams to deliver superior product features.
* Test market concepts, learn rapidly, and iterate based on feedback.
* Prioritize initiatives within an agile framework to meet objectives.
* Facilitate stakeholder and client workshops for co-design and synthesize user research to inform improvements.
* Define, track, and communicate product goals and outcomes.
* Align with senior management on vision, strategy, and execution plans.
* Collaborate across diverse teams and organizational levels, including geographically dispersed teams.
Your skills and experience
* Experience in product management within digital-first businesses, emphasizing automation and simplicity.
* Background in fintech, banking, or financial services; knowledge of institutional banking products is a plus.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Agile methodologies and championing agile practices.
* Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.
* Strong analytical skills with qualitative and quantitative data.
* Customer-focused with sound decision-making in trade-offs.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and tackling big challenges.
* Curious, accountable, and open to learning.
* Confident in influencing stakeholders and communicating effectively.
* High integrity and ethical standards.
