TheOpportunity
We are looking for asuitably qualified and experienced HR Business Partner to join ourHuman Resources and Safety Team. The position will beresponsible forpartnering with leaders and employees acrossthe Shire and providing proactive and responsive advice on allpeople matters, including the interpretation and application ofemployment conditions, compliance, employee relations, organisationdevelopment, policies, organisational directives andprocedures.
Your responsibilitiesinclude a need to:
* Providesupport and accurate consistent HR information to relevantmanagement and employees on the full range of employmentfunctions including recruitment, engagement, employee benefits,retention, employment relations and professional development;ensuring compliance at all times with organisational directivesand business objectives;
* Developan effective business partnership with key stakeholders andpartner with department leaders to understand their businessrequirements, identify trends, develop solutions and strategiesto meet their long-term operational requirements;
* Coordinate andparticipate in corporate induction processes for all employeesand contractors, and provide other in-house HR related trainingand workshops to assist organisational understanding of HRrequirements where appropriate;
* Interpret and assist todraft HR policies, programs and practices to ensure alignmentwith relevant legislation to mitigate risk and support bestpractice compliance;
* Managethe HR and Recruitment queries via inboxes and provideimmediate and accurate feedback on all HR processes, proceduresand initiatives;
* Providesound advice on compliance across all aspects of the employmentrelationship;
* Manageand resolve employee relations matters fairly and efficiently,referring them to Senior HR Partners asappropriate;
* Maintainrelevant human resources records, information and databases andprovide accurate human resource reports and analytics formanagement to make decisions and raise issues andconcerns;
* Leveragetechnology to streamline efficiency and enhance employeeexperience and work practices;
* Conductand report results on internal employee surveys;
* Keep allposition descriptions up to date, relevant and in line withorganisation requirements, seek input and approval frommanagers and directors;
* Completeall performance development review processes in your area ofbusiness, identify skills gaps and recommend workforcesolutions that meet the Shires strategic and operationalneeds.
A qualification in HumanResources, Employment Law or other relevant discipline (minimumDiploma level), and a current unrestricted WA Driver'sLicence are essential for this role.
Part-time options will beconsidered for the right candidate, provided the roleresponsibilities can be fully met.
