Gold Processing Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gold Processing Technician to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our gold processing plant.
About the Role:
* Manage TSF operations and complete reporting as directed. Assist with plant clean-up, including crusher shutdowns, and provide leave coverage for Gold Room and Shift Operations staff.
* Support Maintenance and Operations teams during downtime and oversee bulk reagent deliveries if needed. Conduct stock takes, monitor mill liner use, and manage site waste.
* Gain competency in plant operations, mobile equipment, confined space sentry duties, and gas testing. Communicate with cross shifts, follow Shift Supervisor instructions, and report maintenance issues.
* Maintain a strong safety focus and contribute to an efficient and well-organized work environment.
* Display a clear commitment to safety and health and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment. Proactive involvement with continuous OHS improvement processes. Operate in accordance with Company's Stakeholder Policy. Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimises damage to the natural environment.
Requirements:
* Experience: 2 years' experience on a gold processing plant. Ticketed operator of mobile equipment – FEL, Skid Steer Loader, EWP, Forklift, and mobile crane. Ability to work unsupervised. Able to work as part of a team and foster team-building relationships (be a good team fit). Work with attention to detail. Good communication skills. Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer literacy – Microsoft Office and Excel. Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices. St Johns Senior First Aid certificate (desirable). Awareness of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
* Qualifications: Current 'C' Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
