2026 Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Unaccredited Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for February 2026 and August 2026 intakes.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience in all aspects of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, working alongside a team of 12 Hospital Medical Officers and 15 Registrars.

Suitable for International Medical Graduates (IMG), this role is ideal for those looking to develop their clinical skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The successful applicant will have current registration or be suitable for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

A highly developed and up-to-date clinical and theoretical knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels are essential qualities for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to evidence-based guidelines and protocols.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
* Participate in continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and research.


Requirements:

* Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
* Highly developed clinical and theoretical knowledge in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Benefits:

* Competitive salary range from $57.71 to $79.44 per hour.
