The Role
Lesmurdie Senior High School seeks a passionate and innovative Humanities and Social Sciences (HaSS) teacher who is responsive to change and can cater to the learning styles of future‐ready students. The successful applicant will facilitate the development of independent and confident learners and collaborate with a team of like‐minded professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Deliver high‐quality curriculum and programs within the HaSS Learning Area.
* Design and implement instructional strategies and curriculum that are updated with the latest developments in the field.
* Reflect on teaching practice and cultivate a safe, accountable learning environment, upholding the school's core values of respect.
* Work collaboratively with school staff and the wider community to promote the school's vision, strategic directions and to provide meaningful learning experiences.
* Provide support across Lower School and Senior School classes, utilizing BYOD technologies to enhance student achievement.
