What you'll be doing
* Laying bricks, blocks and other masonry materials to construct walls, foundations, and other structures
* Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction
* Measuring, cutting, and shaping bricks and blocks to fit specific project requirements
* Ensuring the quality and structural integrity of the work performed
* Collaborating with other tradespeople to coordinate construction activities
* Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Bricklayer, with a strong understanding of building codes and construction standards
* Minimum of 1-2 years of bricklaying experience is required for this position
* Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Comfortable working in a team environment and collaborating with other tradespeople
* Commitment to safety and a strong attention to detail
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
* Candidates must be Australian citizens only to be eligible for this position
* A trade qualification is preferred for this bricklaying role
