Dowsing Group is one of Western Australia's leading road profiling specialists, operating one of the largest Wirtgen fleets across Perth metro and regional WA projects. We're growing and we need a Profiling Foreman to step into a senior site leadership role and run one of our profiling crews end-to-end.
This is a hands on site leadership role. You'll be the crew leader on site and responsible for production output, HSE, driving high quality standards, daily project reporting, leading and mentoring teammates on your crew. If you've been running a crew and want the title, the pay, and the recognition that comes with it, this is the role for you. What you'll be doing
* Leading and coordinating profiling crews across major metro and regional projects
* Running daily pre-start and safety briefings with your crew
* Operating and oversee profiling machinery when required
* Driving the production output and quality of profiling works to the highest standard
* Completing all required daily shift reporting tasks
* Liaising with the Delivery Manager on scheduling, onsite progress and issues
* Ensuring all plant and equipment inspections are completed and documented every shift
* Working across Perth metro sites and regional WA projects — mix of dayshifts, nightshifts and weekends
What we're looking for
* Proven experience leading profiling, asphalt or civil road works operations
* Strong hands‐on experience operating Wirtgen profiling machines (2m & 1m)
* Competently cut to required levels, leaving a clean and defect free site
* Strong commitment to training and upskilling members in the crew
* Excellent understanding of WA roadworks and safety requirements
* Confident running pre‐starts and enforcing safe work practices on site
* Reliable, determined and able to handle fast‐paced delivery requirements
* Able to pass a pre‐employment Drug & Alcohol screen
* Experience on Wirtgen Profiling machines including 2m, 1m & Pocket Rocket (W35Ri)
* Prior crew management experience in the WA road or asphalt industry
* Traffic management knowledge highly regarded
* Machine tickets and certifications advantageous
