Our Engagement, Communication and Communities (ECC) team is a well-established strategically important business within GHD, and a founding member of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2).
Our Victorian ECC team works on projects large and small - from Victoria's biggest infrastructure projects to local community projects - to help our clients have significant conversations and connections with their communities and stakeholders at all stages of project planning and delivery.

We specialise in opening the lines of communication to show the value of a project and create opportunities for people to understand and participate in decisions that affect them, achieving projects that are better planned and delivered with better outcomes.

**Working with our Operations Manager and Market Leaders, multi-disciplinary leadership group and broader national network, this diverse position is your opportunity to lead a passionate, accomplished team within a global consultancy and will see you**:
- Lead, manage and grow our dynamic ECC business.
- Develop and achieve our business plan objectives and targets aligned with GHD's global Make It Real strategy, which includes a new and growing Future Communities initiative.
- Establish and maintain effective, productive relationships with a diverse range of sectors and clients and across GHD.
- Build a strong business development and winning work culture, with effective positioning and pursuit of large and strategic opportunities and expanding GHD's presence and market share.
- Lead the technical and commercial direction on significant multidisciplinary projects, identifying and creating business opportunities and effectively managing risks.
- Developing team capability around best practice stakeholder and community engagement strategies, planning, program delivery, reviews and evaluations.
- Drive an inclusive, diverse and safe culture throughout your group.
**What would you bring to the team?**
Ideally you will be an experienced engagement and communication professional able to manage complex projects and programs, with relevant tertiary qualifications and a strong background within a consulting environment. You will have a proven track record in business development with a history of forging strong client relationships, with the ability to identify strategic opportunities in new markets. You will have experience providing stakeholder engagement and communication services for a range of clients.
In addition, you will possess a passion for and experience in growing and managing a team of professionals to deliver exceptional results to our clients.
