They will also play a key role in developing and promoting our injury management strategies that focus on early injury recovery and durable return to work.We have a number of sites across Tasmania and encourage any local professional living in proximity to Hobart, Launceston, Devonport or Burnie to apply.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Manage all workers compensation policies and claims.Work with senior leaders to deliver year-on-year improvement in workers compensation and return to work outcomes.Monitor and contribute to rehabilitation, injury management and return to work activities.Comply with all Workers Compensation and Injury Management company policies, standards, procedures and self-insurance license conditions.Provide leadership, vision, injury management advice and knowledge across the business.The role will have a strong presence across our business in driving improved outcomes.Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Personal Attributes:Excellent negotiation, conflict management and people skills.Results driven and motivated by achieving successful outcomes for all stakeholders.Must have a continuous improvement outlook.Sound understanding of Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislative and compliance framework.High level of Microsoft skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.Commitment to confidentiality at all times.Data sourcing and analysis.Strong written and verbal communication skills.About You:Minimum 5 years' experience in workers compensation, injury management or return to work positions.Knowledge of key rehabilitation and return to work aspects of the relevant Workers Compensation legislation.Proven experience in coaching and training on return to work rehabilitation programs.Proven experience in managing complex and serious injury claims.Proven experience in risk management and injury prevention strategies.Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or Occupational Health and Safety (preferred).Current Driver's License.An inclusive workplace, works for everyoneWe celebrate difference.
