Band 6 - Salary Range $97,926 to $106,637 per annum + 12% Super + ADO

The Opportunity
Are you passionate about finding top talent and building strong partnerships to deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes?
We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and play a key role in managing end-to-end recruitment, ideally bringing experience from a local government environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Team Leader Talent Acquisition, this role will work closely with the HR Business Partners and Hiring managers to understand workforce needs and advise on souring options. Other key responsibilities include:
* Manage the relationships with the agencies for end-to-end recruitment processes for Senior Officer roles
* Manage day-to-day relationships with external platforms and providers to support recruitment activities.
* Build and maintain candidate pipelines by proactively engaging with talent and keeping databases and tracking tools up to date

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
* A certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business management or similar discipline with significant experience in Recruitment in a local government environment. Demonstrated experience and a sound understanding of Talent Acquisition processes.
* Experience using talent management software as well as technology and social media platforms as it applies to recruitment and selection.
* Ability to interpret regulations and apply underlying principles related to talent acquisition in Local Government/Public Sector organisations
