MM Electrical has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially-minded Wholesale Manager to lead our team at our Townsville Store. Job Tasks and Responsibilities
As Manager, you will have full accountability for driving the performance and strategic direction of our Fairfield store.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and nurturing strong relationships with our extensive customer network and supplier partners to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
- Proactively identifying new business opportunities within the local market to enhance market share and revenue.
- Promoting and strengthening the Haymans Electrical brand, maintaining the highest standards in customer experience and service excellence.
- Leading, managing, and mentoring your team through effective coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
Skills and Experience
We are seeking a driven, results-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in wholesale trade management.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a sales management, supervisory, or similar leadership role within a trade or wholesale environment.
- Strong business acumen with a proven ability to identify and act upon commercial opportunities.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills to effectively engage and communicate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial thinking combined with practical problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to market demands.
- Prior electrical wholesale industry experience, although advantageous, is not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to drive profitable business development and achieve growth targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive, proactive mindset with the initiative to drive continuous improvement.
