* Salary range: approximately $55,000 to $75,000 annually, reflecting year level and experience.
* Work location: Northern metropolitan Melbourne area.
Key responsibilities
* Assist with servicing, repair, and diagnostic tasks across a variety of light vehicles including passenger cars, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles.
* Carry out mechanical repairs such as brake, clutch, steering, and suspension work with guidance from experienced technicians.
* Support roadworthy inspections and participate in electrical diagnostics and repair activities.
* Work alongside qualified mechanics to build expertise in both petrol and diesel engine systems.
* Use workshop tools effectively to contribute to vehicle maintenance and ensure safety standards are met.
