Associate Director Data Centre Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for a mechanical engineer with a passion for data centres to join our team in Sydney and lead cutting‐edge projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead design excellence: oversee mechanical design and engineering for data centre projects, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
* Project leadership: collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
* Client engagement: build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
* Mentorship: provide guidance and support to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
* Stay ahead of trends: stay abreast of industry advancements and incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in mechanical engineering within the data centre sector, with a focus on design and project management.
* Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field; professional engineering registration is a plus.
* Strong leadership skills: ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project success.
* Global perspective: experience working in or with data centre markets from prominent regions is highly desirable.
