Senior Clinical Teaching Coordinator Role
This is a part-time opportunity to shape the growth of medical students and enrich their learning experience.
Main Responsibilities:
* Clinical Teaching Coordination: Guide Year 5 and Year 4 medical students through comprehensive year-long placements at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, ensuring consistency of learning experiences.
* Supervision and Support: Provide pastoral care and support performance management of students when required, interacting with Discipline Leads and Clinical Deans at other hospital training sites.
* Curriculum Standardization: Work closely together with Discipline Leads to standardize the curriculum and support each other in resolving issues.
* Student Assessment: Participate in student assessment, such as OSCE examination, or support writing questions in your specialty area.
Requirements:
* A degree in Medicine with unconditional registration.
* Current work as a consultant in any specialty at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for a significant part of the week.
* A proven record of providing supervision to medical students in clinical settings.
* High-level communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
* Demonstrated leadership experience and strong collaboration skills.
