Join Transport and Main Roads as a Senior Program Support Officer (HR) in Cloncurry and play a key role in delivering high‐quality, contemporary HR services across the employee lifecycle. You'll provide trusted advice to leaders and staff on recruitment, performance, workplace issues and organisational change, while supporting workforce reporting, rehabilitation case management and HR initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to build strong stakeholder relationships, coach leaders and contribute to improving HR practices and outcomes across North Queensland. Responsibilities
* Provide proactive, front‐line HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle.
* Handle recruitment and selection, performance and conduct management, organisational change, workplace health and wellbeing, rehabilitation and case management.
* Contribute to workforce reporting, HR initiatives and the development of policies and practices aligned with the broader industrial framework.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, coach and guide leaders, deliver practical, solutions‐focused advice.
* Analyse HR data, prepare correspondence and contribute to continuous improvement and governance across the region.
Qualifications
* Experience providing HR advisory services across complex workplace matters.
* Ability to interpret and apply HR policies, procedures and industrial instruments.
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem‐solving skills.
* Confidence to coach leaders and influence positive workplace outcomes.
* Analytical ability to analyse information and provide clear, evidence‐based advice.
* Current 'C' class driver's licence.
* Ability to undergo a criminal history check.
* Demonstrated knowledge of human resource practices and frameworks.
