Role Description
We are looking for a Senior SMP Designer who is looking for an opportunity to step up into new role as a Lead SMP Designer supporting our Design Manager.
Experience
* 10+ years minimum
* 5+ years' experience in brownfields / sustaining capital design
* Experience managing / coordinating small team of designers / drafters
* Preferably with experience from small-medium engineering consultancy or EPC design & delivery company
* Experience in both materials handling and mineral processing design
Role:
* Perth office based
* Working under our Design Manager and with experienced Engineers
* Manage / coordinate the production of modelling and drafting deliverables
* Manage forecasting and resource requirements with the Design Manager
* Be involved in the development of design solutions with the team to support brownfield and sustaining capital projects
Projects/Clients:
* Diverse range of clients in Gold, Lithium, and Iron Ore
* Ongoing set of debottlenecking projects and expansion studies moving into detailed design in 2026-27
