Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, storage, distribution, and maintenance of warehouse facilities.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Process Improvement: Analyse and optimise warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.
4. Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services.
5. Compliance and Risk Management: Implement and maintain health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards, as well as monitor and mitigate potential risks within the warehouse environment.
6. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and maintain accurate record-keeping to prevent stock discrepancies and overstocking.
7. Transportation and Shipping: Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and minimising delays or disruptions.
8. Tech-Savviness: Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other logistics technology to streamline operations, increase accuracy, and enhance data-driven decision-making.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
2. Strong Leadership Skills: Effective leadership and communication skills to manage teams, collaborate across departments, and drive results-oriented outcomes.
3. Attention to Detail: Ability to oversee inventory, optimise workflows, and ensure accuracy in record-keeping to prevent errors and discrepancies.
