Armed Security Officer - Morwell, Victoria
About the Role
* Location: Morwell, Victoria, 3840
* Casual opportunities available, 12-hour rotating shifts
* 24/7 availability
* Pay rate at Level 2
* Armed Guard endorsement on security license
* Current Category H Handgun License
* Experience is not required
Duties & Responsibilities
* Security Patrols – Foot and Vehicle
* Access control management and Alarm/fire monitoring – ensuring site compliance is always adhered to
* Communications with Emergency services and Police – when required
* Maintaining Security & Visitor logbooks, Weapons register and Lost/Found register
* Writing daily activity reports into the reporting system.
* Competent in use of MS computer systems
* Competent use of security software such as Gallagher, Genetec and Tecom electronic security systems will be highly regarded
* Provide excellent customer service
Who We Are Looking For
* Australian Citizen or Full working rights
* Armed Guard endorsement on security license
* Current valid Driver's license (Have your own transport)
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Must have 24/7 flexibility to work a rotating roster – 12 hr shifts
* Excellent communication skills and Customer service experience
* Police checks and other background checks are also required
