The Role
We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to join our Logan Central team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, creating a positive shopping experience, and being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers with warmth and professionalism.
* Take customer orders in-store and over the phone, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Handle sales transactions and operate the POS system.
* Maintain a clean, well-presented, and well-stocked shop floor.
* Support butchers with packaging, displaying, and preparing products.
* Provide product knowledge and recommendations, including cooking tips and meal ideas.
* Uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
About You:
* A people person – approachable, positive, and friendly.
* Customer service or retail experience preferred (but not essential – we'll train the right candidate).
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
* Respectful and understanding of halal practices (training provided).
