About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Affairs Associate to support our Pet Nutrition business pillar. This is a dynamic and varied role that requires strong regulatory knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.




Key Responsibilities:



* Support new product development: Provide regulatory expertise to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations for pet supplements in ANZ Asia region

* Lead overall regulatory compliance: Develop and maintain product dossiers, complete APVMA END product assessments, and conduct regulatory reviews of product formulations

* Administer advertising pre-vetting and approvals: Review promotional material for regulatory and technical compliance

* Contribute to regulatory SOPs: Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to ensure due diligence and sponsor obligations are met

* Import and export requirements: Ascertain import and export requirements for products entering various markets across ANZ Asia

* Cross-functional collaboration: Work with internal teams to provide lead technical and regulatory advice

* Support business initiatives: Act as key regulatory contact and support product-related complaints issued by regulatory bodies





Desired Skills and Qualifications:



* Regulatory affairs experience: More than 5 years of experience in pet nutrition, complementary medicines, foods, cosmetics, or baby nutrition

* Tertiary qualifications: Degree in veterinary, medical, health, or life sciences

* International regulatory experience: Advantageous

* Commercial focus: Understanding of regulatory decisions and commercial implications

* Investigative mindset: Ability to navigate complex regulations and ambiguity

* Risk assessment: Proven ability to assess risk and provide risk-based regulatory advice

* Liaising with government bodies: Experience working with government agencies

* Legal issues: Appreciation of legal issues related to product marketing and advertising
