- Casual position up to 35 hours per week
- Salary $41.94 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) + 12% superannuation. Penalty rates apply for weekend work.
The successful applicants will be employed on a casual day-to-day basis and will be required to be available to work between the hours of 6am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday (Flexible roster).
About The Role
The Casual Cashier Attendant is responsible for assisting the Patonga Campground team in a variety of hands-on tasks, including cleaning of public amenities, providing customer service and administration support, and gardening duties as required.
- Completing administrative functions including data entry, reservations and bookings via phone and email, cash handling, reconciliation and banking;
- Cleaning of onsite public amenities to maintain standards expected by guests;
- Gardening duties, including turf care, maintenance, watering, landscaping, spraying, and using small plant equipment.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to provide excellent customer service, with a customer-centric approach to liaise effectively with Council’s internal and external customers and members of the community;
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Demonstrated ability to participate, communicate, and work effectively as part of a team to achieve organisational goals and outcomes;
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to prioritise own work to meet project schedules and deadlines;
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, the use of booking systems, word processing packages, databases, spreadsheets, and e-mail applications;
- Demonstrated flexible approach with the ability to work 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays, over a variety of hours.
It is the responsibility of successful applicants to undertake a course of Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccinations or to demonstrate their immunity prior to commencement of employment.
