ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Regional Manager to provide strategic and visionary leadership across multiple programs and teams, ensuring our services remain innovative, accessible, and impactful. Overseeing multiple programs that transform lives and strengthen relationships and communities.

You will be responsible for working closely with the Executive and Leaders across the organisation, expanding Interrelate's regional footprint, operational performance, driving strategic partnerships, and influencing the future of the delivery of human services.

As Regional Manager, you will:

* Lead and Inspire: Coach Practice Leads to build capability and continuous improvement by providing clear strategic direction and fostering a culture that upholds Interrelate's values.
* Drive Strategic Thinking: Shape workforce requirements, build partnerships, and advise the Executive on sector trends.
* Deliver Results: Lead the delivery of a client-centred practice, ensuring services meet quality, compliance and governance standards and achieve key service targets and key performance indicators.
* Communicate and Engage: Articulate our vision and facilitate consultation with staff and community.
* Grow the Business: Identify opportunities, maintain awareness of sector trends, develop business plans, and build and strengthen relationships with partners and stakeholders.
* Lead with Integrity: Provide honest and transparent communication, model ethical behaviour, encourage accountability, commit to ongoing professional development, managing performance and exemplify personal drive.

The position is permanent full-time, working 37.5 hours per week. It offers a competitive annual base salary up to $139,470 per annum, plus superannuation (salary dependent on qualifications and experience), a motor vehicle allowance and access to salary packaging.

The position can be based in our Port Macquarie or Newcastle office, with regular travel required to alternate sites.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

* A degree in Management and/or Social Sciences.
* Demonstrated experience in the Human Services sector.
* Proven leadership and management expertise with a good level of self-confidence with humility, who will want to work collaboratively with all other Business Units, recognising and valuing the strengths of others.
* Understanding of practice outcomes that align with the strategic direction of government for children, families and communities
* Proven track record in driving regional growth, innovation and longevity.
* Proven track record in inspiring and motivating the workforce to innovate, provide exceptional service and adapt their skills and competencies as the need arises, whilst demonstrating commitment to employees' wellbeing and psychosocial safety
* Experience responding to complex government funding tenders and contracts
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing business development plans that align with strategic priorities
* Proven experience in monitoring and achieving key performance indicators, including service delivery targets and budgets
* High level communication skills including negotiation and stakeholder management
* Well-connected within the region with strong networking skills; capable of building relationships and working collaboratively with a range of potential partners and stakeholders, particularly Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations.
