About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist in a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of fixed plant and Port Infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
The role involves performing routine online, offline, and shutdown maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems. Additionally, you will provide planning and technical input to ensure the safe delivery of department objectives. You will also work closely with other teams to achieve a high level of accountability and build proactive relationships across all site teams.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in electrical maintenance, preferably with experience in Fixed Plant maintenance. Your active focus on safety, drive, and passion to improve will see you succeed in this position. You should also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant trade qualification - Electrical, current QLDElectrical Workers license, current Electrical Switchboard and Resuscitation certificate, and current Driver's license. Previous experience with 1SAP, fault-finding, and interpreting electrical schematic drawings are highly desirable. You should also have solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
