ASD are seeking highly motivated and experienced EL1 Lead System Administrators with strong leadership qualities, to lead the technical evolution and administration of ASD's most critical computer systems, through the oversight of the day to day operations of its corporate and bespoke ICT environments.

The key duties of the position include

The ideal candidate will exercise good judgement, demonstrate initiative and have a focus on continuous improvement.
We are currently seeking candidates to work under general direction to:
- Use technical knowledge and leadership to direct and develop junior staff.
- Communicate with both technical and non-technical people.
- Have experience in leading teams responsible for configuring, maintaining and controlling computer networks.
- Apply diverse experience and knowledge to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical network and server problems and provide technical support.
- Ensure optimal performance, security and integrity of network.
- Review current network performance, capacity and capability, and determine future network and server needs.
