Your new role
As a general labourer on an aquaculture farm, you will work alongside existing staff who are responsible for daily operations and ensuring the health and wellbeing of stock. Key duties will include:
* General farm labouring
* Assisting with feeding and monitoring fish stock
* Maintaining pens, nets and farm infrastructure
* Supporting harvesting and grading activities
* Operating machinery and adhering to strict safety protocols
* Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
* Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
* Willingness to work in all weather conditions
* Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
* Previous experience in aquaculture, agriculture, or similar industries is desirable but not essential.
