About the Role
This position offers a rare opportunity to lead our high-performing Legal team, supporting senior leaders and cementing Coles' position as Australia's best food retailer.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering a forward-thinking legal strategy, focusing on transformation and ensuring full compliance and accountability across all brands. You will work closely with multiple internal business units to guide your team in delivering our legal strategy and mitigating risk to the business. You will also take the lead role in managing the company through high-profile, complex legal matters that require your knowledge and experience.
Your Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior legal role within an ASX top 50 business or top-tier law firm
- Proven team leadership, coaching, and professional development experience
- Extensive corporate legal technical practice
- Proven transformation and change management experience
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Competition and Consumer Law and experience working on complex legal matters within a fast-paced commercial environment
- Experience dealing with Australian regulatory bodies
