Job Description
A rare opportunity exists to join our high‐performing Sales Development team in Sydney as a Business Development Representative. The role drives the start of deals at Nearmap by prospecting hard through outbound lead generation and working closely with Account Executives who close the deal.
Responsibilities
• Start deals by prospecting and creating opportunities for AEs.
• Conduct high‐volume outbound cold calling.
• Work closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product Marketing.
• Coordinate within a tight vertical squad and be coached by the Sales Development Manager.
Qualifications
* 2+ years in BDR, lead generation, inside sales, or account management (or complementary customer‐service/sales‐focused role) selling a solution.
* Track record of hitting quota.
* Experience in SaaS or subscription sales is a bonus; aptitude for tech is a must.
* High‐volume outbound cold calling confidence.
* Salesforce or CRM proficiency.
* Resilience, organization, and drive to own your metrics daily.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
